Teacher Introduction

Hello!

My name is Miss Auriemma and I am so excited to be part of the 8th grade team as well as the Catasauqua Middle school community. I teach English Language Arts as well as American History. I am looking forward to this school year!!

A little about myself...I am from Lansdale, PA, where I attended North Penn High School. After graduating high school, I attended Montgomery County Community College where I received my Middle Years Associates Degree. From MCCC, I went to Kutztown University. I majored in Elementary Education with a focus on grades 4-8 and the subjects Mathematics and Social Studies. Once I graduated with my Bachelors from Kutztown, I moved to Louisa, Virginia, where I taught middle school math from 2016-2018. Wanting to be closer to family, I moved to the Lehigh Valley area and worked in Allentown School District as a 5th grade teacher for the past 4 years. During my time in Allentown, I began and am NOW finished with my Masters Degree in Educational Leadership at Lehigh University. 

During my spare time, I love exercising and reading as well as binge-watching shows. I also coach cheerleading for Catasauqua High School as well as girls basketball for Liberty High School in Bethlehem. I am an avid sports fan, loving the Philadelphia Eagles and UCONN women's basketball team. I am very close with my friends and family, always loving to spend time with them.
