About Miss Krause
Miss Krause
Hello all! I am looking forward to a great year! I figured I would tell you a little bit about myself. Prior to teaching 6th grade math, I was stationed in the middle school as a 7th and 8th grade learning support aide. Throughout the year, I taught in classrooms for those teachers who were on maternity leave. That opportunity allowed me to teach 6th grade ELA, as well as 5th, 6th, 7th, and 8th grade pull-out ELA and math. I am currently studying Instructional Media as I pursue my Master's at Wilkes University.
I recently graduated from The Pennyslvania State University in which I was a member of the women's volleyball team. My fall weekends are spent cheering on the current team as well as Penn State Football! My parents, sister, and I are all really close. My sister, dad, and I even coach volleyball together at Parkland High School. I have learned that coaching and teaching are very similar. They both allow me to pass down my knowledge to those who are willing to learn. Watching individuals grow both on the court and in the classroom allows me to love what I do! Other than teaching and coaching, my hobbies include listening to music, playing volleyball, spending time with friends, spending time with family, and traveling! That is just a little bit about me but I cannot wait to learn about you!
WE ARE!
